The mission of the AGC of Wisconsin is to provide services of the highest quality and value to its members to preserve and improve skill, responsibility and integrity in the industry. The AGC of Wisconsin recognizes that the membership ~ general contractors, specialty contractors, and associates ~ is the most important asset of the organization. The highly satisfied chapter member is our most important goal.
Ethics Defined
Why Should Your Company Adopt a Code of Ethics?
The Associated General Contractors (AGC) of Wisconsin, as part of its mission to improve the construction industry, promotes ethics and ethical codes for each of its members. Due to regulations governing trade associations and anti-trust agreements, utilizing a Code of Ethics is voluntary and non-binding. This information is intended to help your firm create a code of ethics. The information includes sample ethical codes from professional societies and construction companies, links to professional society websites, and other resources for your reference in creating your code. “There are no ETHICS in construction. There are ETHICAL PEOPLE in construction.”- Jimmy Gill, Louisiana State University, Department of Construction Management “The integrity of the construction process is as important as the integrity of the construction products” – Ralph James, Ph. D., The Integrity Chain References & Resources
