Safety WISE Qualifications:
Qualified applicants, AGC members only, for the AGC of Wisconsin's Safety ACE designation will have met the established OSHA construction safety standards as demonstrated through successful completion of a four-step qualification process. AGC of Wisconsin is seeking members who are willing to continuously improve and who are willing to promote a company-wide safety culture. The process includes an initial application and qualification checklist, a written program audit, and a minimum of at least one job site audit.

Program Goals:
- Raise Awareness of Health & Safety to the Wisconsin Construction Industry
- Increase the number of employers with effective safety and health management programs
- Improve and maintain safe work environments for employees
- Provide extensive safety and health training to our member general contractors and specialty contractors
- Assist AGC participating employers in establishing self-sufficient safety and health management programs
- Improve lost workday and incidence rates
- Positively impact experience modification rates, resulting in reduced workers compensation costs
- Serve as a resource for member employers and employees in all related safety matters
- Publicly recognize employer achievement in attaining and maintaining effective safety management programs
- Develop and offer marketing materials that communicate dedication to providing a safe worksite and workforce
